NASCAR brought some fun racing action to Las Vegas yesterday for the Kobalt Tools 400. Mr Brad Keselowski took the honor of crossing the checkered flag first yesterday, just beating out his ol' buddy, Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Many NASCAR teams and crew chiefs, including Dale Jr's are known to take risks when it comes to conserving pit stops, avoiding loss of track positions during a race. The problem that results from this, is the corresponding loss of fuel when you don't pit. It's a gamble...take a pit, or stay on the track?  Get more gas...or do with what you have and risk running out?  Well the latter happened this weekend to Dale, just before the finish line.

2nd Place isn't bad for Dale as it keeps him on top of the Sprint Cup points so far for 2014, but Brad Keselowski really enjoyed the win yesterday. Marking his first win of the season and a well deserved win for Penske Racing, who recently switched to Ford this year.

Get ready for the Food City 500 next weekend in Bristol...short track + high banks = FUN!
