Flash Flooding Causes Chaos on Major Connecticut Highway
As you can gather from the video (above) flash flooding has caused quite the scene on Interstate 95 in Connecticut.
According to the live Facebook video feed from WTNH, it appears as though both the Northbound and Southbound lanes of the stretch of I-95 between exits 16 and 13 are flooded.
Some drivers decided to take a "deep" risk and travel through the flooding, resulting in local first responders to come to their rescue. According to NBC, the depths of the waters on the highway are so bad, many cars have gotten completely stuck.
Officials from throughout Fairfield County warn drivers to never drive through flooded roadways and to avoid those areas altogether
