I know yesterday was Throwback Thursday, but today counts as Flashback Friday. Last night I found reruns of The Facts of Life on TV and now the theme song is stuck in my head. So I thought I'd share it with you.

I loved this show when it was on in the '80s and the actresses all went on to have pretty successful acting careers. How could you not love Blair, Jo, Natalie, Tootie, and Mrs. Garret. Plus, a very young George Clooney was on for a couple of seasons.

Yahoo posted some fun trivia facts you can check out. One of them talks about Mindy Cohn (Natalie) meeting Lucille Ball:

Meanwhile, Cohn and Fields's performances as BFFs Natalie and Tootie earned them comparisons to a legendary TV comedy team, by one of the legends herself. Cohn wrote at HuffingtonPost.com that she ran into Lucille Ball in a restaurant during FoL's run, and Ball grabbed her hand and told her, "You and that Tootie remind me of me and Viv. You are a very funny lady, Ms. Cohn. You keep this up now, 'cuz you have a lot to offer." "I thought, 'Kill me now, it's not going to get any better than this,'" Cohn wrote.

I'm so glad this show is in reruns. If you have never seen it, try to find out what station it is on in your area. It was funny back in the day and, in my opinion, it's still funny.

Here's the theme song. Sing along with me! "You take the good, you take the bad.."
