Today is Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day, and in celebration, our friends at the Paul Mitchell School are offering free hair styling for those affected by the disease.

According to The News Times, this is a nationwide event every first Tuesday of June that asks volunteers in the hair styling trade to give back to those battling cancer.

From today through Saturday, cancer patients and survivors can treat themselves to free hair styling at the Paul Mitchell School in Danbury. To learn more about this special day, check this out.

If you would like to make an appointment, or find out more info about what they are doing at the Paul Mitchell School, call 866-768-7555.

As someone who's lost some VERY close family members to cancer, this is such an awesome thing Paul Mitchell is doing, and I encourage local Danbury residents to support their salon in the future.

At a time in someone's life where they just don't feel themselves because they've lost their hair, or just don't feel right, something like this will make someone feel so much better inside. Kudos Paul Mitchell!
