Get Some ‘Hambone’ This Thanksgiving. He’s Our Pet of the Week

With Thanksgiving here, we don't have any Turkey for you, but we have a Hambone we would like you to meet.

Hambone is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. Now I know we say that a lot, but he is so well behaved, and has fantastic manners.

Hambone is 10 years old and a senior dog. He is a Hound Dog mix, so just remember when you adopt a dog, you adopt the breed as well. He came to the Animal Welfare Society from a shelter down south, where he had kind of a tough life. He's really good on his leash, get's along well with other people as well as dogs and cats.

Since Hambone is a senior dog, and this is adopt a senior dog month, you can get a pretty sweet deal on Hambone, and if you are a senior, the adoption fee is waived.

So this Thanksgiving bring home a little Hambone, and give him the best Holiday gift of all, a new forever home.
