It's that time of the year to take a look up at your home's roof and decide that maybe it's time to get someone over to shovel it!  Here in CT and NY, we've certainly seen our fair share of snow this season!

There are so many ways to look at how to figure out how much weight your roof can withstand. Many houses in our area are at least 30 years old, if not older, so imagine how much stress your roof has taken from storms over the years.

One rule of thumb from The State of Mass who've been clobbered by snow, says that most roofs can support 30 pounds/square foot of snow.
