This is either good news or bad news depending on how you feel about New York's governor.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced in a radio interview on WNYC that has no plans to run for President in 2020.

"I am ruling it out. I ran for governor, I have a full plate, I have many projects. I'm going to be here doing the job of governor," Cuomo told Brian Lehrer on the Brian Lehrer Show.

In the interview, Cuomo said the perfect 2020 Democratic candidate must sell voters on a vision, adding it's not enough to just be anti-Trump.

In response, Lehrer said it sounded like Cuomo was describing himself.

"So you're not ruling it out," Lehrer said.

"No, I am ruling it out," Cuomo replied.

Cuomo is one of more than two dozen names of high-profile Democrats rumored to be in running for President in 2020.

Earlier this month, Cuomo was elected to his third term as New York's governor. He received the most votes for governor in New York history.
