Hope you enjoyed the mild temperatures today, because the winds of change will start to blow, and our area could see another freeze up tonight.

Rain and mild temps were in control for most of Thursday, but colder weather will be moving in, dropping temperatures almost 30 degrees by tonight, and that could produce some slippery conditions during the overnight and Friday morning.

The National Weather Service has even issued a number of warnings for most of Greater Danbury and the Hudson Valley.

We have a Flood Watch in effect for all of Greater Danbury. With rain becoming heavy at times today, and the melting ice and snow, flooding in urban and poor drainage area's is possible.

We also have a Wind Advisory in effect for the entire area. Winds could start to gust to between 20-25 mph with higher guests up to 36 mph.

And finally, we have a Coastal Flood Watch in effect. Flooding could occur in locations near the water front and shoreline with 2-4 foot waves.

So look for it to be extra wet today, then clearing dryer, but much colder by tonight, and roads and walkway's could become icy and very slippery by the time your ready for your Friday commute in.
