Country star Gretchen Wilson appeared before a judge today in Enfield, Connecticut regarding last month's charges of creating a disturbance at Bradley International Airport, in Windsor Locks. To settle the case regarding her August 21st incident, she has agreed to make a $500 donation to charity according to NBC Connecticut TV News.  She also has to stay out of trouble in the jurisdiction for about a year.

Her donation was made to the court's charity known as the criminal injuries compensation. She was quoted as saying:

I’m a person like everyone else and we’ve all had bad days...it’s just that celebrities are kind of targeted when they have one...Coming to Connecticut for the second time was much better than the first time.

She indicated that she would like to come back and perform again. Following her arrest on August 21st, she did an invitation only stint at Mohegan Sun in the evening, and that was the reason she flew into Bradley Airport that day which led to her altrication with state troopers.
