The Yankees invaded Citi Field over the weekend for the latest installment of the Subway Series. Billed as the most impactful regular season Subway Series ever, it proved as chaotic on the field as it was in the standings.

Both teams had already won a game in the 3 game series and it was now "Harvey Time". In Sunday's rubber game, Matt Harvey was dominant for five innings, before being taken out due to an innings limit and the Yankees jumped all over the Met's bullpen in an 11-2 win at Citi Field.

The victory moved the Yankees to within 2 1/2 games of the Blue Jays as they get ready to face each other starting tonight in Toronto. Meanwhile the Met's had their National League East lead reduced to six over the Nationals, who defeated Miami on Sunday and will come to Citi Field in less than two weeks for the season's final three games.

Even though the Met's had skipped Harvey starts before, to give him some rest, this was the first time they began a game with a plan to pull him early, no matter how well he was pitching. Manager Terry Collins was going to allow Harvey just five innings, with the outside chance he could pitch a sixth had his pitch count stayed low.

So now the Harvey Limits are in place, at least until the playoff's, the Harvey plan is playing out for all to see....however Sunday, it looked awful.
