Nothing quite says the joy of the holiday season like watching your kids faces while the ooh and ahh over fabulous displays of light, and getting to meet Santa Claus too. So, to that end, let me remind you that just about an hour down the road, in Hartford Connecticut, an awesome display for the season is set to re-open.

Holiday Light Fantasia is a fantastic tradition and this season's must-visit destination. It's a 2-mile drive-through wonderland of holiday spirit boasting a collection of over 1 million lights. Now that will surely light up everyone's face.

Holiday Light Fantasia offers various admission prices, but the basic is $15 per car - up to 10 passengers - and included in the price is visiting with Santa on Fridays, and Saturdays from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Plus attending can give you even more warm and fuzzies  because the event benefits the non - profit, Channel 3 Kids Camp.

The lighted celebration opens on Nov. 23 and runs through Jan. 1, 2018. Hours are: Sunday - Thursday 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. The Holiday Light Fantasia is also open Christmas Eve, Christmas night, New Years Eve, and New Years day.
