Every time I go fill up my tank, I get a little paranoid. The gas is so cheap! But how long is it going to last!? Is this a dream? Where am I!? The 90's!?

With under $2 a gallon in some places (Waterbury, Middletown) and most other towns just at the cusp of $2, it's hard to ignore the fact that this is just too good to be true.

So ... how long are these prices going to last!?

Supposedly the low prices come from an abundance of crude oil, which makes the prices of crude oil go down, in general, which is where gas essentially comes from.

Last time gas was this cheap was in 2009, so not quite like the prices of the 1990's, but STILL. I get to fill up my tank for less than $40 compared to $60 bucks each time. I am a very happy person.

My bet for the end of these nice gas prices is  at the end of March. As soon as it starts getting a little warmer, it's going to go up again.

What is your bet?
