The legendary actor Harrison Ford spent some quality time in Connecticut and was snapped in the kitchen with the staff at O'Rourke's Diner in Middletown, yesterday.

It turns out he like so many Middletown residents is a fan of the restaurant's famed steamed cheeseburger, which he tried while dining with his wife, actress Calista Flockhart and their son Liam. Calista sampled the diner's veggie burger.

It was an early lunch visit which centered around the family's tour of Wesleyan University, in Middletown Connecticut, which may be Liam's college destination in the near future.

O'Rourke's Diner is on the nation's radar for beng a great eatery and is frequented by foodies and celebrities alike, so it makes sense that Harrison and family would make a stop there. In fact, O'Rourke's was one of the few CT spots featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives."

The management told the Hartford Courant:

It’s nice to know people even of [Ford’s] status can take the time to shake some hands and take selfies with people.
