As we were walking though Stew Leonard's in Danbury, Mrs. Large screamed out "Oooooh! New Polar flavors!" And ran over to the display. She's been a big fan of Polar Seltzer for years, and I'm a recent convert. I still desperately grasp at the Coca Cola bottles, but Polar is slowly converting me to seltzer.

Polar Seltzer has been making delicious beverages out of Worcester, Massachusetts since 1882. A couple of times a year, Polar releases limited-edition flavors. I fell in love with their recent limited-release Jalapeno Citrus Margarita. There's such a nice, very subtle flash of heat on the finish, it's really, really good. I felt like Elaine on Seinfeld, looking for a sponge, on a recent shopping trip while trying to find more Polar Jalapeno Citrus Margarita bottles. They disappear quickly.

This leads me to this past weekend, and the unveiling of Polar's Summer 2016 flavors. The new releases are: Raspberry Pink Lemonade, Tangerine Limeade, Watermelon Margarita, Pomegranate Sangria, and Mango Berry. We bought a bottle of the Raspberry Pink Lemonade, and it's really good. Just the right balance of lemon and raspberry flavorings, and a very short aftertaste. Grab some while you can, these Polar limited-edition flavors fly out the door.
