I tried the new Croissant Donut so you didn’t have to… but YOU SHOULD!

I was grabbing my usual Sunday morning coffee at Dunkin Donuts and I was inspired: "I'm going to finally try that new croissant donut, damnit!" And I did. And it was......

DELICIOUS! LOOK AT THESE LAYERS OF BEAUTIFUL BUTTERY DOUGH.. OMGGGGG

and the texture.. it was like a tasty puffy pastry pillow in my  mouth

AND IT CAME IN THE CUTEST BOX EVER... I feel like that is where all the money went to though... the donut comes in around $2.50. So it's more like a luxury breakfast purchase  (although any other breakfast place you'll spend more) $2.50 is still cheap for breakfast

It's just a really good tasting donut, honestly. I really enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised as to how much i enjoyed it. That being said: "Is it the best croissant donut ever??!!" No, I'm sure the authentic fancy bakey Dominique Ensel has much better croissant donuts, but that is something I haven't conquered yet. One day.
