  • Tourism Economics says that  Connecticut benefited from $14 billion in economic activity in 2013 due to tourism. The industry supports 118-thousand jobs - or about 5% - of all jobs in Connecticut.
  • NEVER FORGET, 8 years ago today the deadliest shooting spree in U.S. history happened on the Virginia Tech Campus. Thirty three people, including the gunman, were killed and many more were wounded.
  • It's movie time. The Tribecca Film Festival was founded by Robert Di Niro and Jane Rosenthal in the wake of the 9-11 attacks in 2001. This years event is underway now through April 26th in New York City. Let's grab the popcorn and take a road trip!
