  • The FAA is investigating why 3 passengers on a United Express jet headed to Bradley International Airport from Chicago passed out on board yesterday. The plane declared an emergency and asked to land in Buffalo. Larry Johnson from Danbury was on board.
  • Connecticut drivers are still distracted while behind the wheel. The study commissioned by the Department of Transportation claims there are more than 1-million cases of distracted driving a DAY. Trumbull's Preusser Research Group watched 35 locations across 7 towns to come up with the number.The report says talking on the phone is down but texting and driving has increased.
  • A proposal for stricter boat safety laws is moving from the Judiciary Committee to the Connecticut Senate. Named "Emily's Law" for the Greenwich teen who was killed in a boating accident last year. The law would require people to be at least 16-years old and to complete a safe towing course.
  • Good news for the class of 2015! A new survey by CareerBuilder -who polled over 2,000 employers-saw one third of them saying they'll offer new grads Higher Pay than last year! About 1 in 4 employers in the survey said they will pay entry-level college grads AT LEAST 50 thousand dollars a year!
