Here's some of what's happening in our world today April 9.

  • Check the date on your Sabra Hummus. The company is issuing a voluntary recall of its CLASSIC HUMMUS for possible Listeria contamination. No illnesses have been reported, but to be safe, the recall affects packages in size from 10-32 ounces with a "Best Before" date of May 11, 2015.
  • Now that the Boston Marathon bomber has been found guilty on all 30 charges the sentencing portion can begin. It could be as early as next week when the jury starts weighing whether he spends the rest of his life in prison or face the death penalty.
