1.  What do you do here?

Afternoons 2pm-7pm on the New Kicks 105-5!!!

2. How did you get into radio?

I sort of grew up around radio. My father is Ethan Carey and hosts the morning show on our sister station WRKI. I started out doing weekend overnights on WRKI when I was 16 years old and worked my way up from there.

3. Who are your favorite groups or artists?

I’m a HUGE country music fan.  Especially in the summertime!  My favorites are Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum and Toby Keith.

4. Do you have a "brush with fame" story?

I got to interview Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. once.  At the same time!!  I’ve also gotten to interview Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon!!!!!!!!

5. Do you play a musical instrument?

I own an acoustic guitar.  It was a gift.  I learned how to play 2 cords.  The problem is; I can’t switch between the cords.  So; no.

6. What are your hobbies outside the radio station?

I spend a lot of time on Candlewood Lake on a rather large and slow pontoon boat called the USS Carey, or ‘The Floating Living Room.”   I like to go to Met's games (I love them even though they are terrible.) I’m a BIG NASCAR Fan.  I like the Patriots. I also like skiing, kart racing, eating, cocktails, golf, softball, and other outdoor type activities.

7. What are your favorite movies?

My favorite movie of all time is "Shawshank Redemption".  Awesome flick.

8. Your favorite TV shows?

Seinfeld, House and 24.

9. What sports teams do you root for?

Baseball – Mets.  Football – Patriots.  Hockey – Nobody watches hockey.  NASCAR – Carl Edwards.

10. What's your "guilty pleasure"?

American Idol.  I hate myself.

11. What are your favorite websites?

They told me I had to write Kicks1055.com here.  I do LOVE that website.  But I also frequently visit facebook (who doesn’t), NASCAR.com, and the Newstimes website.
