Is a Hocus Pocus Sequel in the Cards?

According to Disney Parks Blog, Disney has added a new show for the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year. The new show is "Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular" and incorporates the Sanderson Sisters from Disney's movie "Hocus Pocus."

During the show, the three sisters decide they want to throw the best and, of course, most evil Halloween party using their magic. The show will take place on the Castle Forecourt Stage.

Here is a list of characters and other things to expect during the show:

• Winifred, Mary, and Sarah (from Hocus Pocus)
• Dr. Facilier
• Oogie Boogie
• Maleficent
• Other Disney Villains
• Dancers
• Projections
• Special Effects

The show will only happen during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so you will need to buy a ticket for the party if you want to see this show. The party will be held on certain nights in the Magic Kingdom from September 15-November 1.

With the addition of the new stage show, rumors are now circulating that there will be a sequal to Hocus Pocus. According to EOnline, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy would all be onboard if a Hocus Pocus 2 did happen.

Only time will tell, but this stage show will definitely help to bring the movie and characters to a new generation. Here's to hoping for a Hocus Pocus 2!
