Ryan and Patrick, 12-year-old twin brothers from Yardley, PA, enjoy tossing the football around and climbing trees on their way home from school.

From an article in today.com, the two boys were doing exactly that, when a man the boys didn't know, walked over and told them to come down. He proceeded to explain to them that if they should fall and get hurt, their school could be held liable and possibly get sued. He then went on to say that if he saw them in the tree again, he would report them to the school principal.

When Ryan and Patrick's mom, Julie, caught wind of the story, she freaked out! She wanted her kids to play outside, so she did what every good mom would do, she wrote up her own permission slip which she signed, giving her boys the OK to climb trees.

Here is the letter via the concerned mom's Facebook page:

So, would you let your kid(s) climb a tree if they chose to? Do you agree with the ass hat who confronted the boys about a possible lawsuit should they break their face in a fall?
