The lights will be strung from building to building across Main Street. According to the executive director of City Center P.J. Prunty, "the business owners all said yes". Officials and businesses are hoping it give the street a warm Holiday look and feel.

The city got final approval when the City Council agreed to spend $65,000 on the lights and garland at its meeting last week.
