It’s National Chocolate Covered Anything Day
That's right, National Chocolate Covered Anything Day. This is a day that needs to be celebrated! I have a major sweet tooth, so I'd be up for trying (almost) anything dipped in chocolate.
Some of the common things to cover in chocolate goodness are Oreos, strawberries, cake, apples, raisins, bananas, pretzels, and marshmallows. As far as I am concerned, though, is always room to experiment when you are talking about dipping food in chocolate.
Of course, not everything should be dipped in chocolate. The Huffington Post has a list of 11 Foods That Should Never be Dipped in Chocolate. I agree with most of them, but the ones that stick out on the list are the onion, scorpion (this one made me gag), fish, and a telephone (you read that right). Not sure what people were thinking with some of those.
Cosmopolitan, on the other hand, has a list of 14 Delicious Things to Dip in Chocolate and they all sound pretty good. I especially like the idea of dipping chocolate chip macaroons in chocolate. Yum!
Will you be eating anything dipped in chocolate today?
