‘Dancing With the Stars’ Goes Country With Jana Kramer

For the first time since Kellie Pickler won it all in 2013, Country is once again being represented on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Country singer Jana Kramer will join the Season 23 cast of the hit ABC Show Dancing with the Stars when it returns on September 12th.

According to our friends over at Taste of Country, the other 12 contestants for Season 23 include gymnast Laurie Hernandez, actress Marilu Henner, talk show host Amber Rose, swimmer Ryan Lochte, rapper Vanilla Ice, former NFL player Calvin Johnson, politician Rick Perry, actress Maureen McCormick, producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, actor Jake T. Johnson, racer James Hinchclife and Little Women: LA star Terra Jole.

Like some of the other stars competing for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy, Jana will be dealing with an off the dance floor situation as well. She and her hubby of 15 months Michael Caussin have recently separated. They also have a 7-month-old daughter.

It's not like Country Stars haven't appeared before. Other country singers who’ve competed on Dancing With the Stars include Sara Evans, Wynonna, Billy Ray Cyrus, and of course the Season 16 winner, Kellie Pickler.
