Jana Kramer turned the heat way up on Dancing With the Stars Monday night (Oct. 17), performing a sexy tango that may well rank as one of the hottest dances in the history of the show.

The 32-year-old country singer and her partner, 33-year-old Gleb Savchenko, began the dance symbolically on a bed made up with black satin sheets, setting the tone for a dance that was accompanied by Selena Gomez' "Hands to Myself."

Kramer wore a revealing black lace dress, and she and Savchenko deliberately set out to create "the hottest dance on Dancing With the Stars ever done."

"Our first dance was super sexy, and then I feel like we got away from it because, like, it was too much," Kramer says with a smile in the video above. "It is a little out of my comfort zone, because I've never been this sexy. It's a lot."

Her hard work in rehearsals paid off with an incendiary performance that ended up with she and Savchenko cooling off in a shower with water pouring all over them. The partners wowed the stunned judges, who gave them a standing ovation right along with the audience before giving the dance a perfect 40 score.

Kramer has been going through a very tough period in her personal life while working on the show. She's balancing an active singing and touring career with her run on DWTS, which was announced shortly after she split with her husband of 15 months, Michael Caussin, in August, amid allegations that he cheated repeatedly during their marriage.

The "Circles" singer stunned fans when she recently revealed that her first husband, Michael Gambino, was so abusive during their marriage that he ended up going to prison for trying to kill her. She dedicated her dance on last week's episode to her daughter, Jolie Rae, for whom she is trying to set an example of how to overcome all of life's obstacles.

“I’m trying to manage it the best that I can and show single moms out there that we can do it,” she says. “We can do it all, hear us roar.”
