This month is a very special month at the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford, it's adopt a senior pet month, and it's an opportunity to get a sweet deal on a senior pet like our featured pet this week, Jay-Jay.

All month, the Animal Welfare Society invites you to stop by and check out some of the senior pets that are available for adoption. They also offer a senior to senior program with special deals for seniors who adopt a senior cat or dog.

This week, one of the senior cats is our Pet of the Week. His name is Jay-Jay, and he's a grey domestic short hair, or tabby cat. Jay-Jay is 10-years-old and loves to cuddle, and would make a perfect companion or new addition to the family.

He's all up to date on his vaccinations, and he's even been neutered, so all you have to do is supply the forever home.
