Jeff Gordon Stepping Down – Take Deep Breaths …

Jeff Gordon is going to stop racing at the end of the 2015 season. That was announced today by Hendrick Motorsports and I immediately thought, "Oh my goodness, are people gonna be okay!?"

Gordon is a God in a lot of people's eyes, for good reason too. That guy is one hell of a racer! But... sometimes the best thing to do is leave while you're still doing well... and before something bad happens.

This is his 23rd season competing and supposedly Jeff says he's "not retiring- only not racing full time with NASCAR."

Okay, don't know what that means, but I'm he also said "he's going to be very busy". That makes me think that we are going to see a Jeff Gordon reality show VERY soon.

Ha - just jokes- but it COULD happen!

I'll miss seeing his pretty little face on TV when I occasionally land on a channel showing NASCAR ... so good luck to Jeff?
