KICKS 105.5 Pet of the Week- Meet Halo

KICKS 105.5 brings you the Pet of the Week every Monday at 7:10 a.m. The Pet of the Week is presented by the ”Adopt and Save Program” at Agriventures Agway and the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford.

It's the Agriventures Agway adopt and save program, and today we get to meet "Halo".

HALO is a Lab mix who came to the Animal Welfare Society with two puppies from a high kill shelter in the south. She is so friendly and playful and of course has a lot of energy. When she arrived at the Animal Welfare Society she had a very bad wound on her leg that spread to her bone and unfortunately her leg had to be removed. But it's been a little over a month since the surgery and Halo is getting around better then ever. Halo is around 2 years old and has been thru a lot in that short span of time. Now that she's healthy and feeling great she's looking for her forever home.
