NASCAR driver Kurt Busch took home the win yesterday at the Toyota Owners 400 in Richmond.

This race was originally scheduled for Saturday night, but after hours of decision making, NASCAR decided to move the race to Sunday afternoon due to rain.

According to Yahoo Sports, Kurt Busch ended up missing the first three races of the season because of an indefinite suspension from the sport. That didn't affect his mindset and racing abilities as he took home his first win in almost a year yesterday in Virginia.

Yahoo posted his quote from after the race, which sums it up pretty well:

It's an unbelievable feeling when you pull deep from within, you go through troubles. When you're accused of something and things go sideways, your personal life doesn't need to affect your business life and I'm here in victory lane.

To round up the top 5 finishers yesterday, we have Kevin Harvick in 2nd, Jimmie Johnson, Jamie McMurray and Joey Lagano in 5th with his Ford.

My boy, Jeff Gordon started in 11th place and ended up finishing in 8th, as we roll on with his final full season.

Next weekend, we look forward to the Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway!
