Let’s Hear It For The Mets!

Whether or not you're a New York Mets fan, you have to agree it's a complete change of scenery with their amazin' record so far this season!

Today, they took home yet another win over their rival, The Atlanta Braves, with a 6-3 victory!  According to the New York Times, this gives the Mets a tie in their franchise record of 11 consecutive wins.

Even before the season began, Met fans such as myself, and Yankee fans such as Mr Morning, kept betting on the fact that the Mets would have some great pitching this year. With some obvious, Met-like injuries, the amazin's still have what it takes and a deep enough roster to bring success to Queens!

The NY Times reported such a great qoute from the Mets' own Daniel Murphy:

In each ballgame, no matter what happens, I feel like somebody’s going to come through. It’s a really cool feeling to have.

This seems to sum up the season thus far.  As happy as I am, I know the history of the Mets which usually leads to more season crumbling injuries. But let's enjoy this while it lasts, right Met fans??
