Today, we bring you twice as much fun and twice as much dog, as we introduce you to Santana and Santiago -- our featured Pets of the Week.

Santiago and Santana are two Jack Russell Terriers who are father (Santiago) and son (Santana).

Santiago and Santana lost their home in West Virginia, so they came to Connecticut and the Animal Welfare Society to find their new forever home. Santiago, the father, is about three-years-old, and his son, Santana, is almost two-years-old. They are active, friendly little boys, and are very intelligent.

Since they are Jack Russells, they are very active, and should really be in a home with room to run and play. They get along with just about everyone, but remember as we've stated many times before, when you adopt a dog, you also adopt the breed.

The folks at the Animal Welfare Society would like to keep them together, so in this case it's a two-fer. If you have a little love in your heart, and want to add two happy, friendly dogs into your life, then check out Santana, and Santiago.

For more information on Santiago and Santana, and all the other adoptable Dogs and Cats, call the Animal Welfare Society at (860) 354-1350 or visit them on Dodd Road in New Milford. They’re open Tuesday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM.
