Local Listeners Join Mr. Morning & Suzy For Cinco De Mayo Celebration

You can't enjoy Cinco De Mayo without a little celebration, and that's just what we did Friday during our Morning Show.

Cinco De Mayo is one of the biggest party day's of the year. Who doesn't love Mexican food and Margarita's, what a great combination.

Friday morning we invited two Kicks 105.5 listeners who agreed to come be our guest's on the show and play some Cinco De Mayo trivia for a chance to win a $250.00 gift certificate to Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant in Danbury, and tickets to see Luke Bryan at the Xfinity Theater.

Both James in Danbury, and Angel from Dover, N.Y. went head to head to see who could answer the most questions about Cinco De Mayo.

It was an epic trivia battle that came down to one question that would decide who was going to win it all and be crowned the King or Queen of Cinco De Mayo.

"How many pounds of Guacamole are consumed just on Cinco De Mayo"

Angel got it right on the nose when she said 81 million, and she was the big winner of the gift card and the Luke Bryan tickets.

James didn't leave empty handed, just for playing he also got tickets to see Luke Bryan, and both players walked away with a tote bag full of officially licensed Kicks 105.5 merchandise.
