Your Electricity Will Be Cheaper CT! Eversource is Dropping Rates

Twice a year, we get good or bad news.

On January 1 and July 1 annually, Eversource the artist formerly known as CL&P and UI, allows it's customers to choose to pay the "standard service" price for their energy or choose another provider and pay their price.

Well, I think a lot of us overtaxed CT residents will be happy as of this July 1.

Eversource made public this past Friday that their standard service rate will be about 20% lower than the Jan. 1 rates. Hey, $30 bucks on the average monthly bill is $30 bucks!
