As hungry as I've ever been, and with a radio name like Large Dave, you can imagine that I've encountered hunger. I've never, however, considered assaulting a deli clerk in if they refused an extra condiment. Apparently, someone is reportedly that stupid.

According to a press release we received from the Milford Police Departement, 34-year-old Patrick Kelly of NYC was arrested on Sunday (December 2) after police say he was involved in an altercation with a worker at Food Fare located at 1063 East Broadway in Milford.

The report says that Kelly allegedly smacked a worker in the face after being refused an extra serving of mayonnaise. When police arrived, they also say they found narcotics and drug paraphernalia on Kelly's person.

Patrick Kelly was charged with second degree breach of peace, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In opinion, this leads to a great lesson in life: sometimes you just gotta be happy with the mayo you get. Actually, that's a terrible lesson in life. The better lesson should be: Don't smack people in the face if they're trying to save their workplace 25 cents. They're just doing their job. Go enjoy your lightly mayo'd item and your allegedly concealed drugs somewhere else, Mr. Kelly.
