Mariano Rivera in Danbury Saturday

It's not that often you get a player like Mariano Rivera coming to the area, but he'll be in town (The Matrix in Danbury) Saturday night for the Annual Hillside Food Outreach Gala.

Those who know me, and most of our Kicks listeners know I am a "big" baseball fan. So this Saturday's appearance by "The Great" Yankee closer Mariano Rivera is something I think any baseball fan would get a little excited over. He'll be the special guest at the annual Hillside Food Outreach Gala. Another Yankee great Bernie Williams has been involved with the outreach since he was patrolling center field for the Yankees and host's and performs at this fundraiser every year.

Hillside Food Outreach exists to provide food to those in need throughout Westchester, Putnam Counties and Western CT. My wife and I are also volunteers and deliver food to needy families every month.
