Martin Truex Jr Won This Weekend at Pocono

This past weekend at Pocono Raceway, Martin Truex Jr went home with the win at the Axalta We Paint Winners 400.

According to NBC Sports, this was actually his first Sprint Cup win of the season for Furniture Row Racing and Denver Mattress, qualifying them into the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

This win for Truex Jr also ended his 69-race win less streak of almost two years, but he's also had an awesome start to this year with 13 top 10 finishes so far, reported by USA Today.

Kevin Harvick ended up finishing second in his Budweiser / Jimmy John's Chevrolet and Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top 3 at the Triangular-shaped Pocono Speedway this weekend.

My Boy, Jeff Gordon, ended up finishing in 14th, losing quite a number of positions for starting in fourth place! ... Come on man...

Next weekend, it's on to Michigan International Speedway for the Quicken Loans 400.
