Matt Kenseth finally broke his win-less streak of almost a year this past weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway!

According to NASCAR, this race was delayed and interrupted by rain throughout a good chunk of the race throughout the Food City 500. Kenseth ended up crossing that finish line just ahead of Jimmie Johnson with a .287 advantage!  This ended a 51 win-less streak for Mr Kenseth.

At one point after about 22 laps, the race encounted a red flag for weather, which lasted almost four hours!  The race itself didn't begin on time because of showers and a few rain delays, but that was nothing compared to the delay the racing teams had to face later on. Nascar reports another red flag took place, but that only lasted around 15 minutes.

To round up the top 5 finishers at Bristol, you have:

1. Matt Kenseth, Toyota

2. Jimmie Johnson, Chevrolet

3. Jeff Gordon, Chevrolet

4. Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Ford

5. Ryan Newman, Chevrolet

This weekend, we look forward to racing at Richmond and the Toyota Owners 400.
