The Clintons are hitting the road, and they're coming to our area. Former President, Bill Clinton, and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, are making a tour stop right here in Connecticut.

Now that Beyonce and Jay-Z are off the road, another power couple is taking over. It's the Bill and Hillary Tour, and it all starts November 13 in Las Vegas. Both are embarking on a 13-city tour together, during which they engage each other in conversation instead of having an interviewer posing questions.

The Clintons will visit four cities in 2018 before restarting the tour in April 2019, with a stop in Connecticut at the Toyota Oakdale Theater in Wallingford on Friday, April 26.

The tour is simply titled “An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton” and will feature joint on-stage conversations with the two leaders sharing stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their careers in public service.

Tickets go on sale Friday morning at 10 am at livenation.com with a special pre-sale starting Thursday at 10 am.

Cross-country tours seem to be in vogue this year for Democratic heavyweights. Former first lady Michele Obama announced that she would embark on a 10-city tour around her upcoming memoir Becoming.
