Men’s Drop-in Basketball at Fairfield Hills Campus in Newtown

Basketball is a popular pastime, especially in the warmer weather. Sometimes, though, it can be hard for adults to find a group to play with.

According to Newtown Patch, Men's Over 30 Drop-in Basketball will be held at Newtown Youth Academy.  I’ve been to the Newtown Youth Academy and it’s a very nice facility. Plus, it’s inside, so you don’t have to worry about the temperature when it gets hot.

On their website, the Newtown Youth Academy lists some info for the drop-in games:

• Two Hardwood Courts
• Minimum Wait for Games
• Climate Controlled Facility

You can just show up to play or you can contact Dan Foichetti. The games will happen Mondays from 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. There is a small fee for playing and times are subject to change.
