I can't even imagine having this winning ticket and not knowing. Could it be you?

Can you hear the clock ticking? Can you hear the screaming? Can you feel the gnashing of teeth? All of that because you had a winning ticket that you tossed aside. At least that's what I picture when I think of the possibilities.

According to CTLottery.org, time is running out for the person who bought a one-million-dollar winning Powerball ticket back in December to claim their prize. The ticket with a five-number match was sold in Fairfield County. The person has until June 2nd to claim their prize and after that, it's worthless.

Now it's not like this ticket is one of the sky high Powerball wins. You know the kind where winners wait awhile to claim because they need to hire a lawyer and a financial expert. Funny that a million bucks seems like "chump change" but by comparison it is. So my bet is that this ticket was tossed, or went through the laundry, never to be seen again. Like I said, can you hear the screaming?
