MOOSE ON THE LOOSE!

Use caution people! There are moose in the area! I know, I'm kind of surprised too, especially because I thought moose were only in the northern New England states like Maine, and Vermont. But no! They are here in our area! They were spotted in North Granby wandering around.

By the way did you know a moose is HUGE!? They have legs as tall as me (I'm 5'5")! And they are very beautiful creatures. If you happen to see one, slow down if you are in your car and be quiet in general, whether you're in your car or not. Remember, it is a wild animal.

The Connecticut Department of Environment Protection (DEEP) says it is mating season now through October, so you know the moose are really just wandering around looking for some something, something.
