To celebrate and raise awareness for Red Nose Day, Kicks 105.5's Mr. Morning and Liz got their Red Noses on. But just what is Red Nose Day all about?

Red Nose Day is a day set aside, once a year, to help raise money to benefit children here in the U.S., and in some of the poorest communities in the world. People can participate by purchasing red noses sold exclusively at Walgreens stores.

In our area, there are Walgreens in Danbury on Main Street and Federal Road, on Danbury Road in Ridgefield, and on King Street in Chappaqua.

There is also a Red Nose Day Special planned for tonight at 8 PM on NBC-TV.

All in all, today is a day filled with fun, love and compassion for the needy children of our country and the poor and needy children of the world.

Listen to Mr. Morning & Liz weekdays from 6:00-10AM on 105.5 FM, online at kicks1055.com/listen-live/ or by downloading the radioPup app for your mobile
