It was a day that will live in infamy, December 5th, 2016. That's the day Suzy officially joined the show, and the Mr. Morning & Suzy Country Nation was born.

They said it wouldn't last. As a matter of fact, they (the cooperate suits) didn't even want to put Suzy's name on the show at first, fearing it wouldn't last that long. Well, they were all proved wrong, and here we are, one year later, celebrating their first year waking up Greater Danbury and the Hudson Valley.

Here's what Mr. Morning and Suzy had to say about their adventure over the last year:

Mr. Morning

I never thought it would be this difficult. You have to realize, I'm stuck in the studio for four hours a day, five days a week with her — there's no escape from Suzy. It's kind of like getting a root canal with no Novocaine.
Actually, all kidding aside, I think it's a great combination in the morning. Between the two us us, there are plenty of years of radio experience, and having been in the market for almost 30 years, it's great to be able to work with someone who shares the same vision for the show. Plus, we have the greatest listeners on the planet. We don't call them the "Mr. Morning & Suzy Country Nation" for nothing.

December 5th 2016. That's the day responsible for tons of money in therapy sessions. However, if it weren't for Mr. Morning, I would still be stuck in that work release program. I did like the ankle bracelet, but I was running out of coordinating outfits that worked with it.
