In case you don't know, I'm a pretty big Disney fan. So, when LEGO said they were going to release a Cinderella Castle set I knew I had to have one.

The set is over 4,000 pieces and it seriously looks like the same castle in Disney World at the Magic Kingdom. When you turn the castle around there are a rooms on different levels with touches from Disney movies in each room. For instance, you will find the rose from Beauty and the Beast, the Genie's lamp from Aladdin, and the Sorcerer's hat and buckets from Fantasia (to name a few) in different rooms.

I was nervous that I wouldn't get one though. The release on August 17 was a LEGO VIP release, so they had a very limited amount. The castle will be released to the public on September 1, but I really wanted to get it that Wednesday because I have a VIP card. So I grabbed my card and we headed over to Danbury Fair.

The VIP card is great, because it's free to sign up and you get early access to things like the Cinderella Castle. It's easy to do and it's a quick sign up too. I signed up right at the LEGO Store in Danbury Fair. On a side note, I have to say that everyone at the Danbury location store is fantastic. They are always so friendly and helpful when my family and I go in, and we're in there a lot.

Mr. Morning wanted to help me on my quest, so he hired a body guard to help me get in the store and get my castle. You can check out the video below.
