Mysterious UFO Labeled ‘WTF’ Will Crash Into Earth in November
There's some space junk up there and it's hurtling towards Earth! From a story in AOL News, the space junk, named WT1190F, will collide with Earth on November 13. Scientists are guessing it's a piece of space debris left by man from a previous space mission. Because scientists aren't sure what this "thing" is, it's labeled a UFO.
The good thing is it won't have any devastating impact on Earth when it hits, because most of it will burn up in the Earth's atmosphere. The rest of the space junk according to scientists will most likely land in the ocean near Sri Lanka.
WT1190F was first discovered in 2013. The European Space Agency thinks it may be a discarded rocket body which is orbiting Earth every 3 weeks. According to Scientific American, the object is only 1 to 2 meters in size and is perhaps hollow.
It's also possible the debris is decades old dating back to the Apollo era. The bottom line is we are not in any danger from this space junk.
