Nascar Took The Weekend Off, But What’s Next?

The NASCAR community took the weekend off from racing for the Easter holiday, but this coming weekend we're back on track!

Last weekend, Denny Hamlin took home his 25th career win at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia with Joe Gibbs Racing.

According to ESPN, Denny passed his teammate Matt Kenseth for the top spot with around 28 laps to go in the day’s race. This victory also marks Mr. Hamlin’s first win of this NASCAR Sprint Cup season as well.

This weekend, it's on to Texas Motor Speedway for the Duck Commander 500 and the first real Saturday night race this season in the Sprint Cup Series. The race begins at 7:30pm on Fox, and according to NBC Sports, Joey Logano is the defending champion here.
