It’s T-Minus a couple weeks and counting until the doors open at the new national chicken wing franchise that heralds you can let “your inner caveman [woman] out”. Wings Over Fairfield will open August 9th in Fairfield Connecticut, boasting 22 flavors of wings, four different kinds of Buffalo sauce and delivery service. They even deliver late at night--which explains how they became super popular at UConn with Connecticut’s first Wings Over locations more than a decade ago according to the Connecticut Post.

The Wings Over chain prides itself on using fresh not frozen chicken, and also hand breading all of their chicken selections. The new restaurant will open at 2075 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, Connecticut. They started serving in 1999 in Amherst Massachusetts and they've expanded to locations across the nation. You’ll find them everywhere from  Pennsylvania to Michigan, North Carolina to New Jersey, Tennessee to Wisconsin and beyond.

But just remember if you’re thinking of ordering from them during a Patriots game this fall, you might have to wait a little longer for those wings!
