Paula Flower, her husband Greg along with their 4 children just made it out of their New Fairfield home before it was consumed by fire.

According to MidHudsonNews.com, after the family's generator caught on fire this past Sunday afternoon it spread quickly to the Flower family's home and by 1 pm an inter-state mutual aid system summoned fire companies from Patterson, Putnam Lake, and Brewster to help the New Fairfield Volunteer Fire Company get the inferno under control.

Everything inside and out of the Flower's New Fairfield home was destroyed. Thank God the family escaped without any injuries. But now Paula and Greg and their four kids have to face the uncertainty of what lies ahead and that's where their friends, neighbors, and you come in.

A GoFundMe page has been set up on the family's behalf to help them get back on their feet. Greg is an EMT at Danbury Ambulance and Paula is a special education teacher at the Henry Wells Middle School in Brewster. If you would like to help out this family in need, click on their GoFundMe page. No amount is too small and if you're unable to help financially, please share this blog or the link to the Flower family's GoFundMe page.
