New Music From Carrie Underwood

I would say it's about time that we hear new music and see a new album from Carrie Underwood in the coming months, right?

It's been a little while since the lovely Carrie released her last album, Blown Away back in 2012. Carrie performed a new song at the ACM Presents An All-Star Salute to the Troops, this past Monday.

She debuted ‘Keep Us Safe’ at the taping, where she was joined on stage by members of the US military and families. This is such a great song, with deep meaning:

God keep us safe tonight,” she sang, “Keep our eyes toward the skies / Send down an army of angels / To make us brave / And keep us strong and unafraid / God keep us safe.

 

Carrie has also talked about that she's working very hard on a new album, but hasn't said if this song will be a part of it...I would assume that it is.

Do you think this will be another big year for Carrie?  She's now got some new company in the female dept of country music now with newcomers Cassadee Pope and such....But they can't possibly touch the success that Carrie thrives on!....Let's go Carrie!
