New York City High School & College on Lockdown

A New York City High School and a nearby College on New Yorks upper west side are on lockdown.

Details are a bit sketchy at the moment but ABC7ny.com is reporting that police are on the scene at A. Philip Randolph High School which is located at 443 West 135th Street in Manhattan. Police were called to the high school after a student said she saw another student with a gun.

This is a developing story and at this point no one has been arrested and there are no reports of any guns or any other type of weapon found. City College, which is on Convent Avenue in New York, right near the high school, is also on lockdown. City College personel and students there received an advisory alerting them to stay inside.They were also told that they would be notified when updates were available.
